Experience the Cam Thanh Cooking Class & My Son Holy Land Full-Day Tour to explore the culinary culture and history of the Quang Nam region. Start with a cooking class in the Cam Thanh village, where you will be guided on how to prepare traditional local dishes using fresh ingredients. Next, the journey will take you to the My Son Sanctuary – an ancient architectural complex of the Champa culture. Here, you will discover the unique towers and temples, and delve deeper into the history and culture of this region. At the end of the tour, you will take home fascinating experiences about the cuisine and cultural heritage of Quang Nam.
08:20 am:
– Local guide pick up at the hotel
– Go to market with our chef (about 30 minutes)
– We will have a chance to see and experience the noise as well as directly contact sellers. In addition to this, we will show the ingredients for use in our lesson.
09:15 am: – Transfer to Cam Thanh village by car or boat on the way, you can explore the beautiful views of the Vietnamese countryside, and see the water and coconut trees growing together.
11:00 am: – Enjoy a welcome drink and take a rest at our restaurant, then join the cooking class. Our chef will teach you how to cook some local food. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked.
1:30 pm: Keep your moving to Hoi An city and depart to My Son Sanctuary – The World Cultural Heritage.
2:30 pm: – Arrive at My Son Sanctuary and we’ll have 2 hours to discover the site by walking throughout the landscape, learning histories with our local English-speaking guide, and enjoying the Champa’s traditional performances.
5:30 pm – Get back to minivan then transfer to the wharf for taking a boat trip to Hoi An with a nice and cool breeze on boarding, beautiful sunset river scenery on the biggest river in Vietnam Central named Thu Bon River. Get your camera ready for the amazing moment of local people’s activities along the river
6:00 pm: – Arrive at Hoi An, we will drop you at your hotel. Tour ends!

Hoi An is only a 45-minute drive (30 km) south of Da Nang, usually done via private car or shuttle. Travelling from Da Nang to Hue takes about 2.5 to 3 hours (100 km). The most scenic option is by private car crossing the spectacular Hai Van Pass, or via the coastal train which offers wonderful ocean views.
Key highlights include the UNESCO-listed Hoi An Ancient Town (best explored on foot in the evening), the imperial tombs and Citadel in Hue, the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills, the Marble Mountains in Da Nang, and the spectacular cave networks of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
Hoi An is incredibly safe and peaceful. The old town blocks motorized vehicles starting in the late afternoon, making it a pedestrian and cyclist paradise. Street lighting is gentle, supplemented by thousands of colourful silk lanterns. Normal travel precautions apply, but violent crime is virtually non-existent.
