the Beauty of Hai Van Pass And Hue Meals: Lunch
Hue City, which is located in the heart of Vietnam and is known for its rich history, culture, unique cuisine, and stunning scenery, is also home to Hai Van, a stunning pass on the coastal road from Hue to Da Nang. Hai Van Pass and Hue City are must-visit destinations for those interested in ancient culture and the breathtaking beauty of one of Vietnam’s most stunning mountain passes.
07:00 – 7:30 am: The van and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An.
08.00 – 08.30 am: Picking up at Da Nang city and leaving for Hue city
On the way, we will stop to visit some beautiful attraction such as: Hai Van pass – is an approximately 21km long mountain pass on National Route 1A in Vietnam. It is the natural border of Thua Thien Hue Province and Da Nang City, one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam.
And sightseeing Lap An Lagoon – Lang Co beach – With more than 10km long white sand beach and blue sea water, Lang Co beach is an ideal place for relaxing, swimming and taking photos.
10:45 am: You will visit the Khai Dinh Tomb, the tomb had elements of Eastern art mixed with Western designs.
12:00 pm: Having a nice lunch with Hue cuisine and rest at beautiful restaurant
1:00 pm: You will continue visiting Hue imperial city – the palace of 13 Nguyen Kings with Ngo Mon Gate, Library, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, etc.
3:00 pm: Visiting Thien Mu pagoda associated with culture and history of Hue.
3:45 pm: Return to Da Nang / Hoi An
6:00 pm: We will drop you off in Da Nang
7:00 pm: We will drop you off in Hoi An

Memorable trip to Da Nang and Hoi An

Everything was perfectly arranged. The view from Ba Na Hills was breathtaking, and the walk through Hoi An old town was magical. We had a great time and learned a lot about Central Vietnam's culture.

The wet season in Central Vietnam typically runs from September to December, with October and November seeing the heaviest rainfall and occasional tropical storms. The best time for dry weather and beach activities is from February to August, with peak summer months (June to August) being very warm.
Yes. When visiting sacred places like the Hue Imperial Citadel, royal tombs, pagodas, or temples in Hoi An, you must dress respectfully. This means shoulders and knees must be covered. Avoid wearing tank tops, short shorts, or revealing skirts. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended as these sites involve walking outdoors.
Hoi An is only a 45-minute drive (30 km) south of Da Nang, usually done via private car or shuttle. Travelling from Da Nang to Hue takes about 2.5 to 3 hours (100 km). The most scenic option is by private car crossing the spectacular Hai Van Pass, or via the coastal train which offers wonderful ocean views.
Key highlights include the UNESCO-listed Hoi An Ancient Town (best explored on foot in the evening), the imperial tombs and Citadel in Hue, the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills, the Marble Mountains in Da Nang, and the spectacular cave networks of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
Hoi An is incredibly safe and peaceful. The old town blocks motorized vehicles starting in the late afternoon, making it a pedestrian and cyclist paradise. Street lighting is gentle, supplemented by thousands of colourful silk lanterns. Normal travel precautions apply, but violent crime is virtually non-existent.
