07:00 AM: Our guide and bus will pick you up at your hotel in District 1 or at the meeting point. The transfer via Trung Luong Expressway to Cai Be.
Upon arrival in Cai Be, we will take a boat ride on Tien River to the remaining site of a renowned wholesale floating market many years ago. This market used to be a very busy market with diversity of fruits and goods sold.  There, you can realize how diverse the area is and how rich orchard gardens are, which makes it the basket of fruit in the lower part of the Mekong River.
Ramble in small villages where you will uncover the beauty of an ancient house and learn about the indigenous culture. Continue to visit a small family business where the locals make coconut fudges and crispy rice popcorn. Savor delicious fresh fruit and feel the slow rhythms of Southern Vietnamese folk music – a kind of music entwined with the life and culture of the Mekong Delta people.
Paddle through small canals – an exciting experience since you can look around, unwind, and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of the Upper Mekong Delta. Additionally, after arrival on Tan Phong Island, immerse yourself in nature’s tranquility.

Fascinating Cu Chi and Mekong Delta Tour

Exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels gave us a profound appreciation of history. The second half of the tour to the Mekong Delta was a lovely contrast—rowing down the coconut canals, tasting fresh tropical fruits, and listening to traditional music.

Southern Vietnam has a tropical climate with two distinct seasons: dry (December to April) and wet (May to November). Unlike the North, the South is warm year-round, with temperatures consistently averaging between 27°C and 34°C. Rain during the wet season usually comes in short, heavy afternoon downpours that rarely disrupt travel plans.
Mekong Delta floating markets (like Cai Rang in Can Tho) are at their busiest early in the morning, typically between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM. To experience the market at its peak, tours usually depart from Can Tho hotels around 5:30 AM. You will see local vendors selling fruits, vegetables, and hot breakfast noodle soups directly from their boats.
Yes, very easy. Buddhism is widely practiced, so vegetarian food (called "Chay") is readily available everywhere. Look for signs saying "Quan Chay" or "Com Chay" for delicious, affordable plant-based meals.
